The traditional Calabrian crushed olives are: olives crushed with a stone (generally a sea stone) but a meat mallet or other suitable object is also used. They are a classic of Calabrian cuisine, each family has its own recipe but in the end they all look a bit alike. During the construction phase they need some precautions to keep them of a beautiful green that characterize them.
Our traditional product
Our 500 gr. product is based on an ancient recipe handed down to us by the MAUGERI family with organic olives, crushed by hand and not treated with anticryptograms.
